Welcome to London Showers
London Showers has it’s origin in Thursday Showers. Thursday Showers in turn has its genesis in a worship and prayer session that Pastor Taiwo Odukoya (Founding Pastor, The Fountain of Life Church), began with the instrumentalist on Thursday mornings.
This has blossomed into an interdenominational worship service held on Thursday mornings in Ilupeju, Lagos – with over 5000 people attending on a weekly basis. It also boasts of an impressive internet audience. Service starts at 9:00am local time – log on to www.tfolc.org and follow the links.
Thursday Showers, through the ministry of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and the worship team has impacted individuals, families, state and the Heavenly Beings.
God saw it fit to bless the people of London and in August 2008, the first outing of ‘Thursday Showers’ outside Lagos took place in London – ‘London Showers Aug 08’.
This has heralded a new wave of periodic worship services intended to impact the multi-cultural society of London.
Our Lord Jesus continues to shower His grace on London Showers and it our desire that the Lord will find in us all a place of rest. So that we can say according to Isaiah 11:10, “In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to Him and His place of rest will be glorious.
